We are in a critical window for governments and the public to understand crypto’s value.
There is a need to tell clear stories of how this innovation has created a positive impact.
Crypto has created new access points for financial inclusion, streamlined processes, and given people more control over their creative outputs. It is enabling the operation of universal basic income funding and deployment mechanisms to combat poverty. Crypto and Web3 tooling are providing creators with greater control over their output, monetization, data, and audience engagement, through platforms such as Mirror.
Crypto has also been a first responder to global crises. A quarter of a billion dollars was raised nearly overnight to support war efforts in Ukraine and relief efforts in Turkey and Lebanon. The United Nations is piloting programs to deliver aid to refugees safer and faster.
This is an open call for stories of crypto products improving people’s lives across a range of uses, including humanitarian services, financial services, identity & security, creative control, climate, community development, and other topics. Projects that have decentralized infrastructure and Web3 tools across a number of verticals, such as DeFi, NFTs, and blockchain are all welcome.
What Are We Looking For in Submissions?
CCI’s selection process for reviewing submitted case studies focuses on three key themes:
Impact: Use cases that create tangible economic, social, environmental or business impacts for people using or engaging with the project
Community Specificity: Product offerings that addresses the needs of a specific community or socioeconomic group
Inclusion: Tools and services that create new access to resources and opportunities in ways that do not currently exist.
How to Submit Your Crypto and Web3 Story
