Brussels, Belgium, 5 June 2024 – On the eve of the European Union’s 2024 Elections, the Crypto Council for Innovation is announcing its upcoming Forum: Shaping the Digital Future in Brussels on November 21, 2024. This exclusive, invite-only Forum will bring together senior policymakers from Europe, top industry leaders, innovators, and voices from civil society to discuss the future of our digital society.
As the EU embraces a period of political renewal, with at least 50% of European Parliamentarians serving their first terms, the timing of CCI’s Forum is pivotal. The past five years have seen the EU taking significant strides in driving the digital agenda, establishing regulatory frameworks for crypto, Big Tech platforms, and AI.
The “Shaping the Digital Future” Forum aims to build on this momentum. It will support the EU’s newly elected leaders and help them explore the next steps for a cohesive, innovative, and responsible digital landscape.
CCI’s Forum will focus on the following themes: How to Engage in our Digital Decade; The Role of International Standards; Privacy and Anti-money Laundering; Embracing Decentralization; and Innovating for a Green Future. Highlights will include keynote speeches and panels addressing pressing tech policy issues from senior stakeholders, along with interactive workshop sessions and hands-on activities designed to generate actionable insights from public and private sector leaders.
